Beloved artisan bakehouse Bistro Morgan has opened a second location in Fitzroy, slinging its coveted handcrafted doughnuts, scrolls and cookies from a cute 15-seater on Brunswick Street. Yippee!
Those already obsessed with Morgan Hipworth's heavenly (and gloriously aesthetic) doughy rings can expect the same top quality treats at the new spot, plus a range of housemade savoury toasties, milkshakes and A-grade coffee. And if you've never tried one of his extravagant creations before, where have you been? The cure to your afternoon slump never tasted so sweet.
Bistro Morgan is renowned for its famous fancy doughnuts, such as the Cookie Monster, Golden Gaytime and Bruno Mars. Morgan was a high school student when he launched the business as a week-long pop-up in 2016. He sold a whopping 10,000 doughnuts in just eight days!
Bistro Morgan now operates permanently from both the flagship Windsor location and the new store in Fitzroy. The Brunswick Street spot is open seven days a week from 8am to 4pm. For more information, head to the website.
