Time Out says

Gather your amigos for the return of this street-style Latin festival

Get ready for a Saturday filled with Latino energy. Happening at The Ascot Lot on September 14, the Latin Fiesta will feature a line-up of performances, craft market stalls, coupled with food and drinks brought together by the San Telmo Group (the brains behind CBD restaurants San Telmo, Palermo and Asado).

While admission is free for all, there is a recommended gold coin donation for Asado’s partner charity Techno which provides homes and shelter for the homeless across Latin America.

Food wise, some of Melbourne’s top South American street food vendors will be present, including Vira Lata, Copa Food Truck, La Revolution, and Senor Churro. Keep a lookout for San Telmo’s sister restaurant Asado’s signature open fire pit as well.

Besides filling your stomachs, you can enjoy a Patagonian Pilsner or a variety of other South American wines and beers at one of the operating bars. You can also enjoy live performances that will be running every half hour. This includes interactive samba and salsa lessons, and eight-piece band concerts.

Your dogs are more than welcome at the event too, even inside the Lot's indoor spaces. The event will commence at noon and more details can be found on Facebook.
