Hold onto your cowboy hats, Swifties – the queen of pop herself is about to touch down in Melbourne (after watching her beau Travis Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, do the same at the Super Bowl), and it’s safe to say that the city is fully ready to shake it off.

From drag shows and pre-concert parties to bottomless brunches and boat cruises, there's an event to suit every era of Swiftie. And best of all, you don't need to sit in an online waiting room for hours on end to score a ticket. So, are you ready for it? Swift-mania is officially here and no, we will not calm down.

Keen to snap up a t-shirt? Here's how you can buy official merch. Planning your trip to the MCG? Here's everything you need to know about taking public transport to the concert.

Taylor Swift-themed events in Melbourne

  • Things to do
  • Markets

Celebrate Valentine's Day and Taylor Swift all in one when the Queen Vic Market transforms into a wonderland ahead of the Melbourne concerts. On February 14 you can sip on a Swiftail (a delicious blend of strawberry, vodka and lemonade with a garnish of fairy floss), listen to a cover band playing all of Tay's hits and join a friendship bracelet workshop. There's even a silent disco with a carefully curated Eras playlist, plus bejewelled roving entertainers paying homage to Swift's love of sparkles and glitter.

Looking for the perfect snack to fuel you ahead of the Eras Tour hitting Melbourne? We got you: Co. Bake Space is collaborating with the Confectionist to host a Taylor Swift-themed pop-up bake sale. On February 16, 17 and 18, you can head to the Richmond site (located on Swan Street, which is conveniently close to the MCG) to get your hands on a Swiftie-inspired cookie. The range starts from $6.50 and will feature Taylor's face, iconic outfits and accessories, and song lyrics. Our tip? Buy a couple to share for some extra good karma.

Fear less, Swifties – this is not is gonna be another "blue dress on a boat" situation (IYKYK). The Eras cruise is set to be an enchanting evening for all those who didn't snag a ticket to Saturday night's show. You'll jump aboard at Victoria Harbour Promenade, before enjoying Swift-inspired food and drinks (be sure to order a Blank Space Bubbly), trivia, karaoke and song lyric contests. There will be a best dressed competition, and even a chance to showcase your best moves during the dance-off. With life-size cutouts of Tay Tay, plus microphones, decorations and accessories, you're guaranteed to get an epic snap for the 'gram and you'll also leave with a goodie bag of party favours.

Enter your brunch era at these bottomless feasts

If you ask us, Taylor looks like a gal who enjoys a cheeky brunch – so why not celebrate her arrival in Melbourne by hitting up one the city's best joints for a bottomless sesh. This weekend, Harlow in Richmond is doing two hours of free-flowing bevs, a brunch dish of your choice and drag queens taking on all of Swift's biggest hits. At Fargo and Co you can sip from the DIY slushie station and go uber-bougie with caviar and a bagel board. Hit up the Smith for Spritzes galore, plenty of food and drag queens slaying. To avoid any bad blood, book now.

Do you know what Taylor Swift's middle name is? What about the number of album covers that are in black and white? Any idea what her longest song title is? If you know the answers to any of these questions, you're gonna want to get yourself down to Taylor Trivia. Richmond Club Hotel is hosting sessions upstairs on February 12, 13 and 14 at 7pm. Head over from 4pm for plenty of Happy Hour specials – or to suss out the competition. Bookings are essential, so secure your spot via the website.
