Time Out says

This stylish Swan Street restaurant is collaborating with Stonebarn Trufflerie to curate a five-course feast in celebration of the king of ingredients

Following the resounding success of Untitled’s Blackmore x Wagyu dining event in June, the Richmond restaurant has announced the much-anticipated second installment of its Winter Dining Series: a five-course truffle-fuelled dinner on July 26.

Winter’s not quite winter without a little flirtation with these revered delicacies, so if you haven’t booked yourself into any truffle events just yet, this one’s got your name on it. The feast is inspired by the complex flavour profiles of this truffle season’s latest bounty, with chef Matt Woodhouse collaborating with Manjimup-based Stonebarn Trufflerie for the exclusive event.

Alongside expertly paired European wines, you’ll be treated to dishes like glazed spatchcock in truffle jus, spaghetti al tartufo and a mandarin tart with truffle honey and yogurt ice cream. An unctuous seared scallop still inside its shell comes bathed in truffle veloute with jamón and artichoke, and a chablis-paired starter of brioche with comte, pear and freshly shaved truffle will be the first to set off fireworks in your mouth for the evening.

“Australia has become the third or fourth-largest truffle-growing country in the world,” reveals Woodhouse. “It’s exciting to be creating a bespoke truffle-focused menu, allowing me to unleash the intense forest-flora aroma and earthy flavour into a selection of delicious dishes.”

Untitled’s Flack Studio-designed interior boasts an elevated setting to match the experience, with plenty of warm woods, curved edges and marble, and a distinctive contemporary art collection to inspire while you dine.

With only a limited number of spots available, seats are expected to sell out fast. Click here to make a booking.
