Turkey will take over the Queen Victoria Market for two days of food, entertainment and culture
Feast on borek, gosleme and Turkish delights this March long weekend when the Turkish Pazar festival returns to the Queen Victoria Market. This year marks the eleventh year the Pazar has rolled into town to celebrate Turkey's rich culture.
Last year, the event attracted around 75,000 eager visitors to the market's hallowed halls. In 2018, the festival is expanding with more space and new stallholders over two days. Expect all the hustle and bustle of an Istanbul bazaar without having to endure the long haul flight.
You'll be able to grab a cheesy gosleme, some shiny new copper wares and maybe even a handwoven carpet. Many stallholders will also be selling their products on special for the festival. The Turkish Pazar will also feature live entertainment all day, including acts flying in from Turkey itself.
You can visit the 2018 Turkish Pazar at the Queen Victoria Markets on Saturday March 10 and Sunday March 11. Entry is free.
