Melbourne’s first ever Vegan Brew and Food Fest is set to convert even the most ardent carnivore

Melbourne Vegan Eats' Brew and Food Fest is a massive street party is set to bring the city’s favourite restaurants, cafés and breweries together in Brunswick to celebrate the best vegan grub around Melbourne. Melbourne Vegan Eats started out as an Instagram page clueing vegans in on the best meat-free food and drink in Melbourne.

The event has been rolling out their food and drink stalls like a music festival, with first and second round announcements already getting people hungry. The food line-up includes Brunswick café Ray, Doughnut Time, Wide Open Road, Tahina, Lord of the Fries, The Glass Den and even Brunswick pub The Cornish Arms. While some of these places are not exclusively vegan establishments, they have still earned their vegan stripes with their not-so-secret vegan menu items. An extensive number of craft breweries and wineries which have passionately created some of Australia’s best vegan drinks will be ready to quench the thirst of party-goers.

In case you didn't know, a lot of beers and wines out there aren't vegan-friendly. So craft breweries and wineries that have the vegan tick of approval will be joining the street party. Expect Cavalier Brewing, Stone and Wood, Brown Brothers Winery, Remedy Kombucha, Halfpint Vegan Dairy, Kaiju Beer and Golden Axe Cider.

Keep your eyes peeled for more food, drink and entertainment announcements.
