The Victorian Cider and Pork Festival returns with a sizzle to celebrate all things apple and pig at Flemington Racecourse. Prepare for a day of eating as stall holders and food trucks serve up ethically-raised, free range pork from the likes of Smokin' Barrys, Bluebonnet Barbecue, Toasta & Co, Meatmaiden, Burn City Smokers, Gumbo Kitchen and more. Producers will also be showcasing all their porky goods for you to take home, so bring the shopping basket and fill up your fridge and pantry.
Wash it all down with some cider made by Australia's best craft breweries. A $20 tasting card will get you samples from The Nursery so you can taste test a few ciders before you settle on your favourite. Expect cider from breweries including: Colonial Brewing Co, Custard and Co, Batlow Cider Co, Napoleone, Hills Cider and more. If you're not into cider, 4 Pines, James Squire, Stone and Wood will be pouring frothies over the weekend.
