Fore!

Visitors big and small can practice their putts this summer at a brand-new mini golf course making its way to Adventures at Governors Island. On Friday, June 23, the 18-hole attraction—in the backdrop of gorgeous NYC scenery—will open to players, so make your way to the ferry and get ready for a round or two.

“Adventures at Governors Island brings affordable, interactive family fun for all visitors,” Douglas Youla, Director of Operation, said in a statement. “Adding an 18 hole mini golf with spectacular views of the New York Harbor and Statue of Liberty will further enhance our guests’ experience.”

Kids and adults will aim for a hole-in-one while their golf ball travels around a blue whale, mini lighthouse and other adorable features on the course. It’s certainly bound to be an exciting game for all ages. Tickets are $7 per person or $25 for a group of four.

If your mini Phil Mickelsons fly through the game with perfect shots, there are still plenty of options to keep them entertained. A longer zip line for the thrill seekers is officially open (as is the recreation area for the less adventurous), plus there is the option to ice skate (yes, you read that correctly) this summer, take in a movie on the island for the first time and enjoy later hours on Fridays.

Sounds like summer 2018 is going to be a success on Governors Island. Save us a spot on the ferry!
