Summer 2019 might be wrapping up, but we're already thinking about what's in store for us next year.
New broke that the construction-themed Diggerland USA in New Jersey is adding an aquatic play zone called the Water Main in 2020. Your fam can visit one of the best amusement parks close to NYC and finish off a day of operating backhoe loaders, flying down zip lines, climbing rock walls and other outdoor activities for kids with a cooling splash session.
The two-acre water park will include two multi-zone pools, a slide tower, an obstacle course and in-pool basketball. Neat! There are family swim zones for the little ones, and deck chairs and lawns for chilling out. If your crew loves water parks for kids—and who doesn't want to spend a steamy day cooling down in one of the best water parks close to NYC—then this is for you.
Best of all, there's no additional fee: The Water Main is included in the price of admission ($38.95 for non-dated tickets). Fall might be starting up, but When the Water Main opens over Memorial Day weekend in 2020 you'll want to add it to your list of awesome summer activities for kids.
