Woohoo! Luna Park is open all week for spring break

NYC's beloved amusement park keeps on giving.

Luna Park welcomed its 2018 season on Mar 24 by hosting visitors for free—with a small $5 donation—for the first time. In turn, park-goers received a wristband that provided access to all the rides while the proceeds went to the Mayor's Fund, which directly supported Girl Scout Troop 6000. This troop serves girls living in the NYC shelter system.

The park's generosity continues this spring break from Apr 3–12, as all rides will be open for the occasion. The park's hours will be 11am–7pm. Anyone else up for a ride on the Cyclone? It might not necessarily feel like spring as of Monday, but we can only hope that at some point throughout the break the weather will get a bit warmer. If not, we're totally ready to hit our favorite rides with a hat and gloves.

If your kiddos are looking for thrills (or perhaps to venture on tamer rides—no judgment), you definitely need to take a trip to the Brooklyn hotspot. Once you're done shrieking, screaming and having a blast, there are plenty of other things to do in Coney Island that the whole family will enjoy. Happy spring break!
