CirKiz

Why should adults have all the fun? In a kid-friendly approach to electronic dance parties, CirKiz creates an energetic, psychedelic experience for those ages 7–13. The group starts by renting out a NYC nightclub and dedicating its events to all-things kiddos. Families can listen to tunes, show their skills with the help of CirKiz resident DJs—DJ Alden (12) and Hypeman Jalen (10)—get a taste of neon at the Glow Station and rock out with a led robot performance by The Dream Lab, among other cool features. Quiet Events

Does it bother your kids when their besties aren't willing to rock out to the same music? Not a problem with Quiet Events. The company brings headphone parties citywide to all ages so everyone can jam to their go-to beats while their friends make their own selections...even while they're right next to one another. In an upcoming Long Island City party,—a family get-together every other Sunday during the summer at LIC Landing—Quiet Events will take the fun outdoors to a gorgeous Queens' waterfront park while participants choose between three stations—dance hits, 80s and 90s throwbacks or hip-hop and r&b. All you need to do is grab a pair of headphones, and you can dance with the NYC skyline in your view. Learn more about the Sept 9 event here and other offerings here
