You could score discounted flights from Sydney to destinations across Australia – with cut-price seats to Melbourne, Perth and beyond

Overseas escapes serve their purpose, but here in Australia, we’ve got some of the world’s best holiday spots right on our doorstep – from the sun-soaked sands of the Sunshine Coast to the rugged coastline of Kangaroo Island and the outback adventures of Uluru. And thanks to Qantas’ latest domestic flight sale – its biggest in more than five years – these iconic Aussie destinations are within reach.
Launching today (February 10), Qantas is offering almost 2 million discounted business and economy fares to 60 dreamy destinations. The sale runs until 11.59pm (AEDT) on Monday, February 16 (unless sold out prior), covering travel from October 14 to December 20, 2026.
From hidden regional gems to buzzing capital cities, there’s a route to suit every type of traveller. Not sure where to head?
The cheapest fares start at $99 one-way from Ballina (Byron Bay) to Sydney, with plenty more under $150, including the Sunshine Coast to Sydney for $139 and Melbourne to Sydney for $149. Got friends or family on the other side of the country? Flights from Sydney to Perth have been cut to $339, with Business Class tickets available at lower-than-usual prices too.
If you’d rather a coastal escape than a city break, discounted fares are available to destinations like Kangaroo Island, Hamilton Island and Cairns.
The best part about flying with Qantas is that all fares include checked baggage, plus complimentary food and beverages. See you in the sky for a Champagne!
