Sydney's own dedicated beer festival is back to celebrate brewers, pints, paddles, tinnies, taps, breweries, slabs, schooners and everything in between. The ten-day celebration will host tap takeovers, brewery tours, meet the brewer sessions, workshops, tours and dinners that all celebrate beer and the people that make it.
It all kicks off with the Sydney Beer Week opening gala on Friday 26th October at the Australian National Maritime Museum, where you can sample beers from some of the best breweries across Australia and around the world, along with food trucks and live music.
Other events from the program include the beer vs wine battle at Rosie’s Coogee hosted by the Balter and Riot Wine Co; a four course American feast with Jane and Danielle from Two Birds at the Kirribilli Hotel; a Beer and American Smoking Barbecue Masterclass at the BBQ School in Willoughby; the first ever Sourfest hosted by Batch Brewing Co; or you can get involved with the curious combination of yoga, beer and brunch at Chippendale's new Four Points Sheraton.
You can also taste Sydney Beer Week's very own custom burger if you head into Bar Luca, or head in to the SBW Hub at Newtown's Uncle Hops, to stay up to date with all the special events.
There's a big program of both free and ticketed events, so get across the Sydney Beer Week program and plan your adventures today.
