Calling all oyster-lovers, there’s a festival celebrating the South Coast’s famous shellfish
The Narooma Oyster Festival is celebrating its tenth year. Festivalgoers are invited to sample oysters prepared by notable chefs such as Saint Peter's Josh Niland and executive chef of the Rockpool Group Corey Costello, plus Monty Kulodrovic of Icebergs.
The festival will feature NSW South Coast’s three kinds of premium oysters including Sydney Rock Oyster, rare Angasi flat oyster and the popular Pacific Oyster. In 'Oyster Alley’ you'll find local oyster farm owners displaying their produce, so you can compare flavours from distinct regions. There'll be a cooking program too, hosted by chef and food stylist Kelly Eastwood, so you can learn how to prepare oysters at home.
