Beef & Liberty is throwing a tropical pop-up party this Thursday, August 3 from 5pm in Tai Ping Shan to celebrate the ultimate summer cocktail - the piña colada.
Those who are potty for pineapple, loco for coco and looking to get rum-bunctious are spoiled for choice as bar manager Pawel Mikusek is whipping up five special piña coladas along with special guest bartender Max Traverse, the brains behind Honi Honi Tiki Cocktail Lounge. Created with the official piña colada rum and event sponsor, Don Q, Pawel’s creative coladas will remain a secret until the event.
To soak up all that rum, there will be three varieties of gourmet tacos courtesy of executive chef Uwe Opocensky. Chow down on either the lobster taco with coriander, salsa and avocado, slow roasted pork with fresh pineapple and spring onions or the smokey grilled corn with chilli and avocado, or all three if you’re so inclined.
