Thanks to the relaxed social distancing regulations, we can finally see the films scheduled for the 49th Hong Kong French Film Festival, French Cinepanorama, initially scheduled last December. From March 9 to 31, 47 screenings and 37 films will be available in PALACE ifc, Broadway Cinematheque, MOViE MOViE Pacific Place, and Alliance Francaise Hong Kong Jordan Centre. Catch new French film releases and a selection of classics which include Two of Us (Deux), Camille (Camille), Papicha (Papicha), and Looking For Gilles Caron (Histoire d'un regard).
Movie buffs can also meet French directors online for a post-screening live Q&A session. In partnership with Agence France-Presse (AFP), the live session will feature the filmmakers of Camille and Looking for Gilles Caron screened at Alliance Française Jordan Centre. Guests for the post-screening talks include Agence France-Presse's Hong Kong Bureau chief photographer Anthony Wallace, Boogie Woogie Photography co-founders Vanessa Franklin and Xavier Mahe, Two of Us director Filippo Meneghetti, and Qlove co-founders Abby Lee and Betty Grisoni.
