It’ll be the artist’s first permanent space in Asia!

If you tried to get your hands on CJ Hendry’s plush blooms during Art Month earlier this year, you’ll know just how wild the queues were. The Australian artist took Hong Kong by storm in March 2026 with her massive immersive greenhouse installation, where eager fans snapped up thousands of colourful plush stems. If you missed out on the madness, or simply need to add a few more everlasting flowers to fill your vase, there’s brilliant news – the flowers are back, and this time, it is permanent.
Opening on August 1, Hendry is launching a brand new flagship store at 15 Aberdeen Street in Central. Housed inside a three-storey building on the slope just down from PMQ, the venue will open its ground and first floors to visitors looking to pick out their own soft bouquets. The new space marks the artist’s first permanent store in Asia and only her second worldwide, joining her original brick-and-mortar location in New York.
While the March pop-up showcased 26 varieties of plush florals, the permanent Central shop is expected to step things up with an expanded selection of flowers, including the possibility of introducing Hong Kong-exclusive designs in the near future. Priced similarly to New York, each flower will set you back $75, and the 10th one will be on the house.
A word to the wise: if the March pop-up was anything to go by, you’ll want to get down there early – it’s bound to be packed out.
