After seven whole years of being away, popular third-generation K-pop band Seventeen is finally returning to Hong Kong’s shores! They’re set to take the stage for two nights here as part of their ‘New_’ world tour, and also celebrated their 10th anniversary earlier this year, so we can probably expect this to be a real doozy of a concert. Read on for all the stuff you need to know before heading out with your Caratbong!
When and where is Seventeen’s Hong Kong concert?
Seventeen will perform at the Kai Tak Stadium on September 27 and 28.

As expected, since their most recent album Happy Burstday included solo songs from all members for the first time in the band’s discography, their concert setlist is also full of solo stage time for individual members. That said, concert setlists tend to change for different locations, so Hong Kong Carats might get different surprises.

Which Seventeen members will not be performing?
Although Seventeen has a total of 13 members, four of the boys are currently inactive as they are enlisted in South Korea’s mandatory military service. So unfortunately, we won’t be seeing Hoshi, Woozi, Jeonghan, and Wonwoo during this world tour.
Can I re-enter the concert stadium?
Once you scan your ticket to go in, re-entry to Kai Tak Stadium is not permitted if you leave the premises.

How to get to Kai Tak Stadium
MTR
Due to the amount of attendees expected at the venue, there will be no public parking or drop-off at Kai Tak Sports Park during concerts, so instead of carpooling an Uber with friends, your best bet is to take public transport. The easiest way is to get the MTR; alight at either Sung Wong Toi or Kai Tak Station and take exit D, then follow the signage.
Public transport
Alternatively, there are over 40 bus routes that stop by the Kai Tak Sports Park area from all over the territories. If you alight at the Kai Tak Public Transport Interchange or the bus stop on Shing Kai Road, the stadium is roughly a 15-minute walk away, or if you get off at Kowloon City Interchange, then expect a 25-minute stroll. You can also hop on a ferry from the North Point Ferry Pier to the Kowloon City Ferry Pier – these run every half an hour.
Taxi/car
If you absolutely must arrive via car, then public taxis will be able to drop you off only at the designated areas for Kai Tak Stadium and Kai Tak Arena. These areas will only be available for passenger drop-offs before the concerts start, and not for people leaving the venue after the concerts end. Private cars including Ubers will only be able to drop off passengers at the Ma Tau Kok Road drop-off point near To Kwa Wan Road, which is approximately a nine-minute walk to the stadium.

Seventeen fan events in Hong Kong
Aside from the two nights of concerts, Hong Kong Carats can also enjoy a range of Seventeen-related events and promotions titled Caratia.
From now until September 28, there’ll be a Seventeen-themed tram running along Hong Kong Island, as well as a Seventeen aqualuna cruise on September 26 to 28. There will also be a Seventeen cable car at the Ngong Ping 260, available until October 8.
As a Hong Kong-exclusive event, there will be a drone light show running from 7pm on September 25 and 26, as well as a Seventeen 10th anniversary-themed show on September 27. Head to the Wan Chai Observation Deck for these shows.
In a special collaboration with The Peninsula Hong Kong, the hotel will be putting on a light show on its façade from September 26 to 28, as well as selling a limited-edition gift set of artisanal chocolates and a themed luggage tag. A Carat-exclusive afternoon tea cruise on the World Star Ferry is also available on September 26 and 27.
Of course, there will also be pop-up stores for fans to get merch. From September 18 to October 22, hit up the atrium in Moko mall for the official Seventeen pop-up, while the Bonbongee Teddy Tales pop-up will run from September 22 to October 2 in Airside. The band’s official cartoon character Miniteen will also be on display at the Avenue of Stars from now until September 30.
