Theatre kids, we might be getting ahead of ourselves but how can we be calm when there’s a possibility of Hamilton coming to our shores??
Eagle-eyed netizens have spotted that Crossroads Live UK, who are general managing the Hamilton World Tour, have posted a job listing for automation, lighting, and wig roles for the musical’s multi-year world tour. According to the website, “Hamilton will visit a multitude of territories, starting in Asia in late 2026.”
Not much else has been confirmed yet, least of all tour locations, but we can definitely hope. With the WestK Performing Arts Centre slated to open in 2027 as a new artistic venue for everything from intimate experimental works and large-scale dance productions, to long-run musicals and international touring performances, there is a chance that an upcoming leg of the Hamilton tour will be hosted here, against the backdrop of our city’s iconic harbourfront.
