The government has just announced stricter social distancing measures as the city recorded 41 local coronavirus cases as of July 13. Starting on Wednesday, July 15, 12 types of venues, including cinemas, bars, and gyms, will be closed for up to seven days. Restaurant's seating will be capped at four per table, and dine-in services will not be permitted from 6pm to 5am; patrons can only purchase food to takeaway during this period.

Mask-wearing will also be mandatory on public transport as part of the stricter measures and public gatherings will be back to a limit of four people from the previously allowed number of 50. The government advises the public to practice precaution and observe appropriate social distancing.
