Earlier this month, we reported that beloved dim sum restaurant Lin Heung Tea House was facing closure. We’ve just received news that the restaurant is opening up a new branch in Tsuen Wan, with renovation work already underway and an open date targeted for around Chinese New Year.

The menu at the new location will be much like the old, with a focus on time-honoured dim sum items such as siu mai with quail’s egg and Malaysian sponge cake.

There’s still no word though, on whether or not the restaurant plans to keep its iconic pushcarts, or if their historic Central location will remain open after 2018, so stay tuned for more details!

Shop P9, Luk Yeung Galleria, 22-26 Wai Tsuen Rd, Tsuen Wan.
