Little Bao is coming back to Soho, well temporarily at least. The Soho branch of the popular restaurant – that gave the humble bao an exciting modern twist – quietly closed its doors last year, but now it will be making a return as a pop-up concept at none other than Happy Paradise. Following the Little Bao closure, Happy Paradise – helmed by Asia's best female chef 2017, May Chow – also closed as a restaurant in 2019, to become a private dining space for special events.

Well, this is special alright, because this new Little Bao Long Weekend pop-up will be running from Thursdays through Sundays every week from now until the end of summer, and there will be some very exciting food on offer.

Visitors will be able to once again enjoy old favourites in the heart of Soho, like Little Bao's signature pork belly bao and truffle fries, and there will also be some green options too, like the vegan bao made with Impossible meat. Happy Paradise will also be getting in on the cooking, serving up their bitterly missed sourdough waffles and poached yellow wine chicken (this dish and a few others must be ordered a few days in advance).

In addition to signature bites, expect some brand-new off-menu snacks, which will be announced every Wednesday on Little Bao and Happy Paradise's social platforms. These will include dishes like drunken clam noodles, 48-hour short rib boa, and many, many more!

The Little Bao Long Weekend pop-up starts this weekend, from May 28 to May 31. Weekdays are dinner only, from 6pm to 11pm, whilst weekends see the pop-up open for lunch, from 12pm to 4.30pm, and dinner, from 6pm to 11pm.

Walk-ins are welcome, but for those wanting to book, message via WhatsApp at +852 6794 8414.
