Chapel Street restaurant Mr Miyagi has opened a new venue and they didn't go far, with the new Mr Miyagi Takeaway Shop opening on 24 Chatham Street, Prahran just 650 metres away from the original Windsor venue.

The takeaway venue will offer a smaller range of Mr Miyagi favourites as well as some new dishes. You can expect small snack dishes like crispy chicken ribs, duck spring rolls, and sushi fries, a take on polenta fries made using sushi rice. If you're after more substantial options the venue will offer the Mr M salmon taco bowl, Japanese beef curry and wagyu bolognese.

Mr Miyagi Takeaway Shop is open now, but you won't be able to eat in-store for a while. Instead, you can try the dishes via UberEats until the doors to the new venue open in the coming month.

Mr Miyagi has also started serving wine out of goon boxes from their Windsor restaurant.
