Time Out says

The cabaret-style comedy act will perform a one-off show at the Athenaeum Theatre

If you’re after an X-rated dive into what it means to enter your thirties as a woman featuring some risqué cabaret-style songs, we have just the show for you.

Hot on the heels of her critically acclaimed Netflix special The Twist…? She’s Gorgeous, the Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Catherine Cohen is heading Down Under to present her show Come For Me for the first time to Australian audiences.

The American comedian, author, actor and all-around “diva chanteuse for our times” will perform in Melbourne on Thursday, November 9, at the Athenaeum Theatre Two. Cohen will also perform in Sydney at the Factory Theatre on Monday, November 13.

As well as being a stand-up comic, Cohen has released a book full of her comedic poetry, God I Feel Modern Tonight. Her TV credits include FX's What We Do in the Shadows, Broad City, Comedy Central’s Awkwafina is Nora from Queens and the Netflix series Special and many more.

Come for Me has been praised as an outrageously sharp, openly glamorous and decidedly horny musical about being a woman in her early thirties. Cohen invites audiences to prepare for sexy stand-up songs about “finding your purpose, filling the void, and sending nothing but love and light to anyone who isn’t addicted to your person.”

Catherine Cohen performs at the Athenaeum Theatre Two on Thursday, November 9. Tickets are from $60 and can be booked via the BOHM presents website here.
