Time Out says

Hit up the Espy for the best party in town after Melbourne's epic Pride March

The biggest LGBTQ+ party of the year is right around the corner, with Melbourne's famous Pride March happening on May 23. And of course, it wouldn't be Pride without a pretty epic party. The Espy's going to have you shaking that groove thang for a full 12 hours, so bring your best boogie shoes.

The party is hosted by the queer club legends at Tomboy and your MC is none other than Renee Russo. There will be everything from drag queens to burlesque performers, and of course, plenty of party anthems to get you on the dancefloor. DJs include DJ Darls, Bangerz n Mash, Gay Roberto, Jake Judd, Gavin Campbell, Hip Hop Hoe and Brown Diamond.

All that dancing sure builds up an appetite, and the Espy's Chinese restaurant, Mya Tiger, is serving up rainbow dumplings that look as good as they taste. And even better, $1 from each plate sold goes to the Victorian Pride Centre, which supports LGBTQ+ rights and equality initiatives throughout Victoria.

Keep going all day with the special Sun, Sparkle, Sour cocktail, made from Vanilla Absolut, passionfruit, pineapple, citrus, egg white, and sparkling wine. It tastes like sunshine and is the perfect drink to toast your pride. And $1 from every Sun, Sparkle, Sour sold will be donated to the Victorian Pride Centre from May 17 to 23.

Members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies are all welcome, so grab your squad and show your pride at the Espy. Reserve a table here or just walk in on the day.
