Lido Cinemas is turning three on Sunday, August 5, and to celebrate the cinema is doing $5 movie tickets. Since opening in 2015 the Lido has truly found its niche on Glenferrie Road, with the schmick cinema offering more than just mainstream movies – it also features a jazz room with live music every Friday and Saturday; arthouse, international, independent and cult film screenings; a rooftop cinema and a fully stocked bar with options that make popcorn and a soda look quaint.
