Everyone's favourite government initiative is back for a third (and hopefully not final) round. As part of the Reignite Melbourne campaign, Melbourne City Council will be offering midweek diners 25 per cent (up to a total of $125) off their bill, from March 7.

The hugely successful $10 million program will run until the funds are exhausted, so it’s a first-come-first-serve basis. You can claim the offer anytime between Monday-Thursday throughout the entire Melbourne municipality, including Southbank, Chinatown, Lygon Street, Docklands, North Melbourne and Kensington, and at hospitality venues within sporting, arts and theatre precincts.

The announcement comes after premier Daniel Andrews’s press conference earlier this week where he advised that from February 25, (most) mask rules and work-from-home suggestions were to be lifted. The rebate is not available on weekends and requires a minimum spend of $40 to claim.

To access your Melbourne Midweek Money cashback, simply take a photo of your receipt and upload it to the Melbourne Money portal here anytime from March 7 – until the offer is exhausted.
