In January last year something special happened at CBD pan-Asian eatery Burma Lane. Taking inspiration from two of everyone's favourite comfort foods, they created the Wagyu bacon cheeseburger dumpling, a pillowy soft steamed morsel of meat and cheese. To celebrate one year since the dumpling debuted, Burma Lane are selling their Wagyu bacon cheeseburger dumplings for just $1.

For three days only you can pop into the feisty Little Collins Street restaurant lunch or dinner to grab some $1 dumplings. Available dine in or take away, the steamed meaty morsels come with a peppy Vietnamese tomato sauce and no regrets. The caveat? You can only buy five dumplings per customer – but we reckon five bacon cheeseburger dumplings for $5 is one of the best cheap lunches you can get in the CBD.

You’ve got from January 16 to January 18 to grab your own $1 Wagyu bacon cheeseburger dumplings from Burma Lane.
