How much would you pay for a plate of hummus with a side of pita bread? Maybe $5? Maybe $12? What if it was filled with truffles, topped with minced marron cooked with saffron butter and topped with Yarra Valley caviar?

That's what Bar Saracen is slinging from May 14 to May 18, and it costs a cool $100. It's called 'Hundred Dollar Hummus' (natch).

The specialty hummus is for 'World Hummus Day' (which does not sound like a real holiday, but we'll take it), and it will only be available for a few days.
