Get off your phone and get a free overnight tiny home stay as a result

Be honest: how many nights do you spend next to your partner in bed, but you're not actually spending time together? Instead, you're doomscrolling on your respective phones. Don't worry, we're not judging you. But we are here to let you know that if you can put down your phone for a night, you can score yourself a free stay at an off-grid tiny home in the Macedon Ranges (or another state, if you so please).
So, it's time to pop your phone on 'DND'. And by 'DND', we don't just mean 'do not disturb', we also mean 'down 'n' dirty'.
The deal comes as new research from sexual wellness brand Lovehoney reveals Aussies give their phones 12 times more attention than their partners. To fix our screen addiction, they’ve teamed up with Into The Wild Escapes on an exclusive DND package available across select off-grid tiny homes from November 4 to December 22.
The rules are simple: the less you use your device, the less you pay for your stay. And if you manage to cut your screen time by 50 per cent, your night away is completely free. Sounds pretty achievable, right?
Couples will simply screenshot their average daily screen time upon arrival, then take another right before they check out. Lovehoney will then calculate the percentage reduction in phone usage, with bigger drops unlocking bigger discounts.
Ditching your phone shouldn’t be too hard, as each tiny home comes with a Lovehoney Reconnect Kit, featuring a disposable camera and journal. No Wi-Fi, no scrolling – just you, your boo and uninterrupted hours to get down and dirty.
The DND cabins open for bookings on October 20 for stays between November 4 and December 22. Every cabin is within an easy two-to-three-hour drive of Australia’s major capital cities, including the NSW Southern Highlands, Hunter Region, Barossa Valley, Toowoomba, Macedon Ranges, Bendigo and South West WA.
Lucky for Melbourne, we have two options to choose from: Tiny Max in Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges, and Tiny Eli in Bendigo. Both offer a vastly different staycation experience. Tiny Max is a dreamy rural escape, fit with an outdoor bathtub that's perfect for sunset dips as you watch the sun sink below the horizon. Tiny Eli in Bendigo is surrounded by beautiful native bushland, and is pet-friendly! So you can bring your doggo to keep you both busy so you don't get any temptation to whip out your phone.
We reckon these will sell out in seconds, so pop a note in your calendar and sign up for the waitlist here.
