In good news for the lovely folk of Brunswick, Market Lane Coffee has opened a shiny new store along Sydney Road. And to celebrate the opening, there will be free coffee for all. *Oprah voice* you get a coffee! You get a coffee! And you get a coffee!
The vibrant space will be serving up Market Lane Coffee's renowned range of coffee, as well as having a large selection of freshly roasted beans available for purchase. Alongside top-quality brewing gear and curated homewares, the Sydney Road store will also be selling treats from Austro Bakery.
“Our roastery and office are located nearby,” says co-owner Jenni Bryant. “[And] ever since we moved in there in 2020, we’ve wanted to create a community space where neighbours and local coffee lovers can drop in for a coffee and a chat. This new shop is that space!”
The brand first launched its premium coffee offering at the Prahran Market way back when in 2009, and has continued to expand its empire ever since. Market Lane Coffee can now be found in many corners across Melbourne, with stores in Carlton, Collins Street, Queen Victoria Market, Brunswick East and South Melbourne.
Market Lane Coffee's expansion is not only good news for gourmet coffee devotees, but also for the planet with the brand having gained certified B Corporation status, joining a global movement of organisations that champion using business as a force for good, not just for profits.
