You'll be familiar with George Calombaris and his modern take on Greek classics at Gazi, The Press Club, and Hellenic Republic, but the chef and restaurateur is offering Melbourne's wine gourmands the chance to experience a tailor-made private dinner at Press Club – Projects.
Press Club – Projects is Calombaris' experimental test kitchen located next to the original Press Club restaurant. The exclusive Cellar Dinner event hosted by Calombaris will be an intimate dinner sitting for up to just 14 guests, who will be given unrestricted access to hand-pick and taste some of the most expensive wines from The Press Club's cellar. George Calombaris will then create a custom menu completely unique to the guests' wine selection.
Interested guests will be asked to book an appointment to run through the wine list with a Press Club sommelier. Dinner prices will then be determined based on guests' final wine selection.
