Wintry weather calls for steamy cups of spiced wine and melty cheese
Nothing beats the cold better than mugs of warm mulled wine (extra cinnamon quill please!) and delicious melty cheese. High Street's Welcome to Thornbury has brought the best of both worlds together at their mulled wine and hot cheese party on Saturday August 12.
From noon to 10pm, the bar will be serving up warm and spicy mulled wine, and the venue has picked out an extra cheesy bunch of food trucks and food vendors to keep punters fed. Try special raclette burger from Mr Burger, cheesy sambos from Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks and raclettes from Frencheese. Stick around for delicious dishes from Pasta Face, That Arancini Guy and Brunetti Woodfired Pizza.
There will be not just one, but a whopping five different mulled wine flavours to sample all day. Aside from the classic spicy version, you can also try the cherry and apple pie flavours, as well as a sticking date pudding number.
Got a sweet tooth? Dip'd will be making mini doughnuts and That's Amore will be making ricotta cannoli for dessert.
