Wintry weather calls for steamy cups of spiced wine and melty cheese
Nothing beats the cold better than mugs of warm mulled wine (extra cinnamon quill please!) and delicious melty cheese. Northside's Welcome to Thornbury has brought the best of both worlds together at their Mulled Wine and Hot Cheese Party on Saturday May 27.
From noon to 10pm, the bar will be serving up warm and spicy mulled wine, and the venue has picked out an extra cheesy bunch of food trucks and food vendors to keep punters fed. The line-up's made of the raclette makers from Frencheese, new St Kilda cheap eats Sparrow's Philly Cheesesteaks, That Arancini Guy, and The Cheese Rebels, who will be serving little cheese plates.
Need something a little more substantial? Boss Burger and Shakes and Mr Burger will be flipping patties all night, while Crepes For Change will be making sweet and savoury French crepes.
