The Toyota Baaalllllll Pit

Fancy diving into a giant pit filled with 110,000 balls? The Toyota Baaalllllll Pit has taken over Yarra Park outside the MCG for the AFL Footy Festival this Grand Final week – and there are serious prizes up for grabs.

You’ll have just 20 seconds to dive in and hunt for specially marked winning balls, with prizes including $100 AFL Store vouchers, signed AFL merch and – the one that everyone wants – double passes to the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final. Everyone who takes part also gets a Toyota Legendary bucket hat (sun safety is chic). 

And don’t stress about the time – prizes will be added throughout the day, meaning you have the chance to score something ace, even if you couldn’t call in sick.

The free AFL Footy Festival is on now and runs until Saturday, September 26, with plenty more footy-themed fun, including Toyota Tundra and HiLux displays, special appearances from footy stars and comedian Leigh Qurban on the mic.

Head to Yarra Park in East Melbourne to get involved. The festival is free and open to all ages.
