Singapore’s hotel scene is buzzing with a fresh crop of new openings in 2025, offering everything from rainforest resorts to urban lifestyle hotels. Whether you’re a local in need of a pampering staycation or a tourist hunting for a new place to stay, there’s something for everyone. Raffles Sentosa Singapore is the country’s first all-villa property. Tucked away on a hilltop in Sentosa, surrounded by lush greenery, the resort offers 62 private pool villas ranging from one to four bedrooms – all with outdoor terraces and sweeping views of the South China Sea. The sister property to the iconic Raffles Singapore, Raffles Sentosa Singapore is a serene sanctuary that blends contemporary designs with nature-inspired accents that tie in with its lush surroundings. Each villa comes with its own private pool and outdoor terrace, offering guests plenty of space and seclusion. For those longing for the sea, direct access to Tanjong Beach is just steps away. The Laurus is the newest resort at Resorts World Sentosa, offering 183 suites inspired by Singapore’s lush island setting. Singapore’s quirky new Train Pod @ one-north offers a one-of-a-kind staycation experience inside a real decommissioned MRT train carriage. Located near one-north MRT station, this boutique co-living hotel features eight cabins with private bathrooms, retaining much of the original train interior including handrails and vintage system maps. Guests can check out the converted driver’s compartment lounge, complete with screens showing footage of past journeys. Unlike actual MRT rides, eating and drinking in the cabins are welcome, with 24-hour vending machines and nearby eateries just a short walk away.

Orchard Road’s newest hotel, The Standard, Singapore, brings a touch of Hollywood glam to Singapore’s shopping district. Despite a modest footprint and no gym or spa, this stylish property surprises with its quirky mid-century modern interiors. Rooms are compact but comfortable, featuring smart TVs, Nespresso machines and retro-themed bathrooms. Dining highlights include Kaya, a Japanese izakaya serving Japanese dishes with a modern twist, and Café Standard, known for its stacked burgers and sizeable drink menu. Mandai Wildlife Reserve is expanding its nature stays with the upcoming Colugo Camp. This new campsite offers 20 air-conditioned safari-style tents, each accommodating up to four guests with queen and bunk beds – great for families with little ones. There’s also free Wi-Fi and a private patio so you can enjoy the outdoors in the privacy of your tent. Guests will have access to communal bathrooms and a dining hall where they can share a meal and mingle with fellow campers. Additionally, all stays include guided tours of wildlife parks Singapore Zoo, River Wonders and Night Safari.

Set along Orchard Road, NoMad Hotel Singapore will be the first of its kind in Asia-Pacific to open in 2027. Housed within the reimagined Faber House, the 173-room lifestyle hotel seamlessly blends modern, nature-inspired design with local cultural touches, showcasing Singaporean art and craftsmanship throughout. Designed by award-winning local architecture firm WOHA, the property also features a 15-storey cascading waterfall and a lush, cliff-like façade. Coming soon to the world’s best airport is Hotel Indigo Changi Airport, the latest addition to Changi Airport’s expanding lineup of airport stays. Connected to Terminal 2 via a linkway, the 255-room hotel will sit in the public area – so you can book a stay without a boarding pass.
