HK's top Indian bartenders band together to raise money for charity

Support is pouring in from all over the world to help ease India's difficult situation due to the onslaught of the pandemic. In Hong Kong, various groups, individuals, and personalities from the city's F&B industry have also organised a series of fundraisers to help this cause. If you're looking for ways to help, the city's top bartenders are banding together to raise money for the Indian Red Cross Society. Head to Chaiwala and Hugger Mugger on May 30, 6pm, and drink and eat for a cause at 'Hong Kong Helps India' fundraiser hosted by bar industry veterans Tom Egerton and Holly Graham.

Five award-winning Indian bartenders Sandeep Hathiramani (Tell Camellia), Sandeep Kumar (The Wise King), Devender Seghal (The Aubrey), Deven Rajput (Whisky & Words), and Navneet Kumar (Dragonfly), will be stirring and shaking their signature cocktails for the night ($100/drink; cash-only bar). Those who would like to sit down for dinner can dig into the four-course set menu ($500) at Chaiwala's adjoining Chai Bar. Executive chef Prabir Banerjee will be preparing dishes that include Bombay Fried Chicken, Old Delhi Butter Chicken, as well as vegan dishes like Tandoori broccoli with coconut cream and cashew nuts. Book the dinner on this link

Guests can also take out cocktails as the bar will be offering drinks in to-go cups. Those who will be staying for the festivity will get a chance to win staycations, premium spirits, brunches, dinners, and other surprises from the raffle draw.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the Indian Red Cross Society.
