We're going into June with a series of World Gin Day celebrations, happy hours, wine pairings, wine and cocktail workshops, and bar shifts. If you're planning to head out in the city for some drinks, here's a roundup of places and activities you should mark on your calendars.

Transport yourself around the world and through history with Island Shangri-La Lobster Bar's new The Archivist menuBar manager Bob Louison was inspired by classic cocktails dating back from the 16th to 19th centuries in the creation of this new menu, which comprises 12 cocktails and six mocktails to welcome summer. Order classics like Fish House Punch, Brandy Crusta, Little Egypt, El Presidente, and Deep Sea cocktails available for $130 per glass, or sip through the present with the bar's new renditions – that come in both spiked or non-alcoholic – available from $110 to $140. If you get hungry, the new menu also offers the perfect grub to complement the drinks, which includes lobster bar puffs, lobster roll, and country terrine. Alternatively, you can opt for the hearty seafood platter.
