The last couple of months have been tough for Hong Kong’s restaurant scene, with the spread of the coronavirus causing numbers of people eating out to plummet in our city. To combat this decline, and to support our city’s amazingly eclectic food scene, Hong Kong foodie authorities joined forces for the United We Dine initiative that aims to encourage Hongkongers to support restaurants in the city.

Time Out joins The Forks & Spoons and Tatler Dining in this exciting campaign together with other media outfits – On Air Collective, Foodie, WOM Guide, Tasting Kitchen, and The Loop. Over 100 restaurants will be participating in the initiative, taking place from March 16 to April 30. The restaurants include Aulis, Frantzen’s Kitchen, Tate Dining Room and Amber to name a few.

The eateries will be running special value #UnitedWeDine menus and limited-time dishes, and also a points campaign where visits to the restaurants can win some seriously cool prizes, from bottles of high-end whisky to swanky staycation packages. With such an exciting event coming soon, we urge you to get ready – and hungry – to support our city’s restaurants. For more details, visit www.unitedwedine.hk.
