London's best hot tub hotels

  • Hotels
  • Whitehall

A luxury hotel that’s big on glitz and glamour isn’t likely to have just any old hot tub, and the Corinthia doesn’t. Instead, the deluxe hotel has a vitality pool (alongside its normal pool), which offers a variety of air and water massage jets. It’s part of the state-of-the-art spa, which has every well-being amenity you could imagine, plus a nail studio and a Daniel Galvin hair salon. Rooms, like the rest of the hotel, are firmly in the grand hotel style.

Where is it? The Corinthia is located in the heart of central, moments away from Whitehall and Trafalgar Square.

Which room? The Whitehall Penthouse – with a private rooftop balcony that screams luxury, the outdoor human-size chess set and fireplace are just the cherries on the cake.

Time Out tip: On-site, The Garden, an intimate and stylish outdoor space, is an idyllic spot for lunch or a cocktail.

K West Hotel & Spa

  • Boutique hotels
  • Shepherd’s Bush

Despite not being the location of David Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust' cover, which it's often confused for (the photo was, in fact, snapped outside former furriers K West), the K West Hotel still has some serious rock 'n' roll cred. It used to be a BBC recording studio and, since becoming a hotel, has welcomed guests including Bob Marley, Bowie (naturally), Bryan Ferry and The Kinks. But it's not all high-octane goings on, the K West is also the perfect place to relax, especially in the K Spa's hydrotherapy pool, which has built-in loungers. There's also a Snow Paradise, which looks like the stuff of nightmares but is supposedly rejuvenating, and an 'Experience Shower' – we daren't ask.

Where is it? On the outskirts of Shepherd's Bush, in West London.

Which room? The Studio – think open plan space filled with large sofas, a Bose sound system and a 42" flat-screen TV.

Time Out tip: Visit the award-winning on-site spa, K SPA, and indulge in a range of treatments including a herbal steam room.

There's also a hammam for luxurious purifying scrub treatments and, of course, a fabulous hot tub. The rooms are equally sleek, with Carrara marble bathrooms, Floris toiletries and Frette linen.
