We curate an LA weekend itinerary of the city's best concerts, culture and cuisine, every week, just for you.

Friday

Wait out Broad City's 2017 return at NOMO FOMO, a tribute art show at NerdMelt. You'll find more than 75 pieces of the show's most impressive fan art, as well as DJs, bucket drummers, food, drinks and a photo booth during Friday's opening night "Narnia of Party-as."

See silent Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton classics with contemporary musical accompaniment as UnSilent Cinema takes over the FIGAt7th courtyard. Tonight's lineup includes live scores from alt composer Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, the Postal Service producer Jimmy Tamborello and more.

Catch the most iconic fight between an H.R. Giger-designed obscenely phallic beastie and a badass mech suit during this midnight screening of Aliens, the sci-fi classic's James Cameron-helmed sequel, at the Nuart Theatre.

Saturday

Kick off the L.A. Phil's progressive Green Umbrella series of programming with Noon to Midnight, an entire day of free performances throughout the Walt Disney Concert Hall. You'll find pop-up performances from local ensembles in the performance center's entrance hall, garden and main auditorium, as well as the recently unveiled cloud-like multimedia installation Nimbus.

Take to the streets with model Amber Rose as she leads the second iteration of the Amber Rose Slut Walk, an impassioned walk from Pershing Square in the name of ending sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labeling and gender inequality.

Learn how to act, dress and walk like a zombie during LACMA Local: Zombie. The Miracle Mile museum's meet-up includes a workshop from Zombie Joe’s Underground Theater, followed by a zombie parade around the LACMA campus. Tickets include admission to "Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters."

Stuff your face at one or more of the four major food festivals going on today, including Off the Hook Santa Monica Seafood Festival on the Santa Monica Pier, Spring Street Oktoberfest at Beelman's Pub and Spring Street Bar, the EAT Show at the Reef and Taste of Italy at the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles.

Enlist in one of two clandestine factions at this year’s "Secret Society" edition of the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. For the first time, the Old Zoo haunted house-like attraction includez a section that happens partially on foot.

Sunday

Scope out two museum exhibitions on their closing days, starting at the Natural History Museum. Cue the Jurassic Park music—at least inside your head—for Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs, an interactive examination of the extinct family of bird-like flying reptiles. Afterward, make sure to stop by the recently opened Butterfly Pavilion.

Get one last glimpse of Cindy Sherman: Imitation of Life today at the Broad. View 120 photos from the artist's ongoing fascination with 20th-century film and celebrity in the museum's first special exhibition (though advance tickets are booked, you can try your hand at the standby line).

Eat your way through the Eastside by snacking from more than 25 vendors at the Eastside Food Festival. Some local favorites expected to hit Mack Sennett Studios include Knuckle & Claw, Buttonmash, Homestate, Little Beast and more.

Celebrate L.A.'s resident food critic icon at a City of Gold screening and tasting party with Jonathan Gold himself. The documentary about the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer is worth a watch on its own, so a post-screening, Gold-approved tasting at the Wiltern just sweetens the deal.

Spend a night in an Altadena cemetery during the opening weekend of Wicked Lit. This annual spooky tradition at the Mountain View Mausoleum leads the audience across the grounds for three spooky theatrical productions, including H. P. Lovecraft's From Beyond, Ellen Glasgow's The Shadowy Third and the traditional story Anansi and the Demons.
