Speakers out and volume up; it's almost time to countdown Triple J's Hottest 100 songs of the year. You've all been submitting your votes, and it's not long until you can dial in and see if they managed to nab a hot spot on the legendary countdown.

This year, the centrepiece of the Hottest 100 weekend is the main event on Saturday, January 28, from noon. So what are you waiting for? Grab your pals and head to these listening parties to dance to the songs that got you through the year.

Where to listen to the Triple J Hottest 100 in Melbourne

Get ready to boogie at this CBD rooftop bar near Southern Cross Station. As you listen to the countdown, you'll get to take in 360-degree city views. Dress code: bucket hats.

Imagine a riverside terrace house with a microbrewery out the back and you'll get Hopscotch. It's the ideal summery spot for tuning into the Hottest 100, so make your way there from midday for an afternoon of tunes, sunshine and drinks with over 36 flavours of beer to choose from.

Sitting on the edge of St Kilda beach, Republica has a chilled-out vibe that's perfect for either Sunday sessions or a few mid-week cocktails. Tune into the Hottest 100 from noon and enjoy DJs Louis Gilbert and Jove after the countdown wraps up.

Score $2 snags and wash them down with half-price tinnies, Aperol Spritzes and glasses of wine. If you're in the mood for a more substantial meal, opt for the $20 pot and parma. The Hottest 100 will be playing live over the speakers from midday.

Nestled in the heart of hip Gertrude Street, the Fitzroy Beer Garden is appropriately named – it's in Fitzy and it's got a leafy beer garden out back. Get your dancing boots on and head over from noon for a Hottest 100 party that's set to go well into the night.

Who says Sydney has all the best waterfront views? Pop into the Wharf Hotel to enjoy a bevvy right next to the Yarra River. The Hottest 100 will be playing from noon onwards.

Tickets: Free and walk-ins are welcome. 

Head to the iconic Richmond venue as they kick off the Hottest 100 celebration at 12 pm. Expect ice-cold drinks, good company, and the hottest hits of the year - live and loud.
