Sending someone a bouquet of flowers is already a sweet gesture, but it gets even sweeter when those blooms help support important cancer research. And for the first time since before lockdown, the Rialto Melbourne has partnered with Cancer Council Victoria to once again host an in-person Daffodil Day.
On August 25, the Rialto's piazza will feature a sea of 20,000 yellow daffodils. Head over between 7am and 2pm to explore the space and to purchase a bouquet, with proceeds going towards vital cancer research. In previous years, this fundraiser has raised upwards of $20,000.
Small and large bunches will be available, starting from $7.50. If you can't make it in person, you can still make a donation through the Daffodil Day website.
