When Kendrick Lamar was announced as the headline act for Spilt Milk (alongside Doechii, Dominic Fike and Schoolboy Q), Melbourne hip-hop fans collectively lost their minds. And unsurprisingly, tickets sold out immediately. But thankfully, the multi-Grammy Award-winning rapper heard the cries of local fans and announced that he’d be bringing his Grand National Tour to AAMI Park on December 3 and 4. Here’s everything you need to know.

When is Kendrick Lamar's Grand National Tour in Melbourne?

Kendrick’s Grand National Tour will take over Melbourne’s AAMI Park on Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4.

How to get to the Kendrick Lamar Melbourne concerts

Public transport is your best option for getting to the venue on the big nights. If you’re coming from the CBD, jump on a Route 70 tram from Flinders Street/Elizabeth Street or take nearby train services to Richmond or Flinders Street, where additional metro and regional trains will be running before and after the concerts (with bus connections for Frankston and Werribee line passengers). You can also catch the 246 bus near the precinct, and extra services across major metro and regional lines will help get you home once the show wraps.

What time will Kendrick Lamar come on stage?

Gates will open at 5.30pm, with the show scheduled to start at 7.15pm. While the exact start time for Kendrick’s set hasn’t been confirmed, we expect he’s likely to come on stage at around 9pm.

What can I bring to the Kendrick Lamar Melbourne shows?

For all gigs at AAMI Park, you can bring one small bag per person no larger than an A4 sheet of paper, and any item that fits under your seat. Prohibited items include alcohol, professional cameras, large flags or banners, glass or large drink containers and the obvious: weapons, animals (other than accredited assistance dogs), drones and anything deemed hazardous or disruptive.

Are there any Melbourne Kendrick Lamar tickets left?

This won’t come as a shock to anyone, but demand for Kendrick tickets has been through the roof, especially given it’s his first time in Melbs since 2022. That being said, there are still select tickets available – you can check out your options via Ticketek.
