Discover locally made homewares, food and sustainable fashion at this epic market

The Makers and Shakers Market is back for 2024, showcasing a host of established and emerging designers at the Royal Exhibition Building on April 6 and 7. Bring your bags and nanna trolleys, because this is a great opportunity to stock up on one-of-a-kind goodies while also supporting local artists and creatives. It's also conveniently timed to be the perfect opportunity for Mother's Day gift shopping, what's not to love.

The market is a curated event that will feature 150 stalls run by independent Melbourne makers selling homewares, food and drink, art, accessories, ethical fashion, beauty products and more. You won't go hungry, either – this year's tasty line-up of snacks includes pizza by Basil and Oregano, pies by Pie Thief, sweet treats by Sebby's Scrolls, gelato by Gigi's Gelato and heaps more.

There will also be all-vinyl DJ sets, plus kids activities, tastings and creative workshops. Adult tickets are $4 and kids under 12 enter for free. You can pre-purchase tickets via the website
