Well, here to clear things up, McDonald's Hong Kong has launched a Burger Lab e-book where they reveal everything from how many grams of salt are used in their french fries, to what McNuggets are really made out of. Here are some of the most interesting ones.

How much salt is used on French Fries?

For every basket of french fries that goes into the deep fryer, four grams of salt is used. If you would like yours without salt, you can request when ordering.

Each Big Mac beef patty takes 38 seconds to cook, while the chicken in GCB needs 80 seconds. According to the fast food chain, no extra oil is used during the cooking process.

The egg and cheese burger meal with a cup of black coffee is around 341 kcal, while a chicken caesar salad meal along with a side of sweetcorn and hot lemon tea is roughly 305 kcal. You can also find out the nutritional values of each food item with the McDonald's mobile app.
