Celebrate Easter with these takeaway and delivery options from some of your favourite restaurants

Easter is upon us, and while us Hongkongers are sure to be having a more homely one than usual, there's still plenty to enjoy on the food front, as some of our favourite restaurants are offering mouth-watering menus and special dishes that are also available for takeout and delivery.

Of course, we all love a meal at a good restaurant, but for those who'd rather keep it an indoor Easter, here's our list of where to get your munch on with a touch of something special to enjoy at home with the fam.

Maison Libanaise will be commemorating Easter the traditional Lebanese way, with a week-long feast! Special offerings to hit the table this year are the lamb ouzi – a hearty slow-roasted lamb shoulder with allspice, mint labné, and rice ma’alouba accompanied with maamoul date cookies. It is recommended to reserve for dine-in 24 hours in advance or delivery 48 hours in advance, to ensure you get to enjoy that Easter lamb goodness.

Belon is offering a six-course menu to celebrate Easter this year for a very reasonable price. Sample some of the Michelin-starred restaurant’s signature dishes such as the French sausage saucisson de bigorre and the whole roasted three yellow chicken with French peas. End the affair with the oh-so-sweet millefeuille cream slice.

When: Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 12pm-2.30pm

To honour the Tuscany tradition of having an Easter celebration and feast over five days, AC is offering a five day special Sella di Agnello – roasted lamb saddle. It sounds absolutely divine, seasoned with Dijon mustard, garlic, fennel pollen and rosemary salt and filled with a robust spinach and ciabatta mix, all for a nice price. It’s available for dine-in or delivery so you can have a true Tuscan Easter experience right at home.

If beachside brunch isn’t your style, walk along the beach to colourful Thai eatery Sip Song. The Easter menu here features such delicacies as Gai tod – Thai-style boneless fried chicken ($145) – as well as other plates from the signature menu. The Easter bunny sundae is also on offer here to accompany your meal in fine springtime style.

Limewood is rolling out a special menu addition just for Easter. The new menu’s headliner is the smoked salmon waffle with sour cream, avocado and poached egg ($190). For those that aren’t too stuffed, end your meal on the sweetest possible note, with a cute Easter sundae ($70) with vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate egg, M&M’s and of course, white chocolate bunny ears.

Free-flow wine and salumi for brunch over Easter? Yes please! For $380, LucAle is offering limitless plates of salumi, fresh veg, burrata and mozzarella, as well as free-flow red, white or Italian wine for two hours. Top all this off with a choice between three desserts – we recommend the tiramisu. For those who are inspired by this meal and would rather not dine in, you can purchase your Italian salumi platters from LucAle’s takeout menu and enjoy a festive feast at home!
