It’s our last chance to truly enjoy all the good things summer has brought us.
Labor Day is the last hurrah of summer, so make it count! It's an annual workers’ holiday on the first Monday in September dating back to 1882. It's also the unofficial farewell to summer.

It should take you an extra morning to recover from your three-day party weekend, by which time you can actually honor the national holiday at this joyous parade held on Tuesday, September 8 at 4:30pm. The AFL-CIO hosts NYC's annual Labor Day Parade.

It steps off from on Liberty Street between Broadway and Church Street and is slated to run until 7pm.
