Drake brought his Anita Max Win tour to Sydney – with his last show cancelled due to "scheduling conflict"

We know when that hotline bling, it can only mean one thing... Canadian artist Drake has confirmed that he’ll be coming to Sydney in 2025, as one of three confirmed stops on his Anita Max Win Tour of Australia. It’s been eight years since the world-famous star has performed on Australian soil, and in true Champagne Papi style, he first teased his return to Oz via a series of cryptic Instagram stories before confirming via live stream. Now, official ticket info and show date details for his visit Down Under have been revealed. Here's all the info Drake fans need...
The Anita Max Win Tour will see Drake take over Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, February 16, Monday, February 17, Wednesday February 19 and Thursday, February 20. Just like Olivia Rodgrigo and Coldplay both did earlier this year, he dropped the third date in response to the high demand. Drake also added a fifth Sydney date for Friday, March 7, which he then went on to cancel.
Drake's fifth Sydney show – due to take place this Friday, March 7, was cancelled. In an official statement, Drake's team explained that they were "actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows."
The exact reason for cancelling the last few dates of his Australia/ New Zealand tour is under some speculation, with Drake citing "scheduling conflict."
General sale for Drake’s Sydney shows begins on Friday, December 6, 2025 at midday via drakerelated.com and the Live Nation website. The waitlist is now live on the Ticketek website.
Yes, of course there are. There are several, in fact. Presales will kick off from Tuesday, December 3 – with the Mastercard and Vodafone presales running from 12pm on December 3 until 12pm on Thursday, December 5.
Mastercard members will also get access to preferred tickets when general sales start on December 6.
Westfield members will get access to exclusive reserved tickets, too – with a presale for Westfield members running from 1pm on Thursday, 5.
Ticket prices for this tour are still under wraps, but we’ll let you know here as soon as we get our hands on the info.
While he’s this side of the globe, Drake will also perform in Melbourne (at Rod Laver Arena on February 9, 10 and 12), Brisbane (at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 24 and February 25) and also Auckland. For those who aren't available, or who don't get tickets first time around, keep your fingers crossed for more shows to be announced.
As soon as the announcement about Drake broke, the first question a lot of people had was: “Is Kendrick Lamar coming Down Under, too?” Yep, it’s been difficult to bring up one name without the other, ever since Drake and Kendrick’s hip-hop-history-making beef blew up in a big way with a vicious series of diss tracks earlier in 2024. Adding fuel to the hopes of KenFolk, Kendrick just announced the Grand National Tour, a joint-North American stadium tour with SZA. (Considering that SZA’s recent tour just sold out a bunch of arenas in Australia, we’re doubtful that the long-time collaborators’ joint tour will head down here anytime soon.) At the time of publishing, there are no confirmed plans for Kendrick to head to Australia, but you can join Ticketek’s waitlist to be the first to know when it happens.
