Bring out your inner dancer with Russ Dance Factory's virtual classes. For the whole month of April, Russ Dance Factory in Causeway Bay is moving their dance fitness classes online. Whether you're a beginner, an advanced dancer, or just bored and wanting to do some fun exercise at home, RDFvirtual lined up various dance programmes for you to learn and enjoy. Taught by professional dance instructors, participants can choose from signature dance lessons on hip hop, pop, funk, to jazz rhythms. Classes are scheduled from 9.30am until 11pm through Zoom. With the launch of their HKBallet@Home series, Hong Kong Ballet is bringing the ballet shows to your homes. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3pm, HKB will be posting a variety of entertaining shows on their Facebook account. Catch Mondays' Ballet Goes Viral series with the inspiring talk show Ballet Blahblahblah, hosted by HKB's artistic director Septime Webre; Ballerina Chef, a fun cooking show with HKB dancers showcasing their culinary talents and secret cooking recipes; and Ballet 101, a set of videos aiming to uncover some common ballet myths. 

On Wednesdays, bring out your inner ballerina and join the free Barre Classes Online taught by HKB members. Learn choreography from beginner to advanced levels. On Fridays, HKB will release its video archive featuring the company’s dance artists throughout the years.

Hong Kong studio Barre 2 Barre has gone online. Catch their livestream classes through Zoom for the whole month of April. Choose the scheduled class from their online calendar and get instructions on how to join the sessions. They also offer a free live meditation class hosted by their co-founder Mylène Mackay, every Wednesday at 10pm on their Instagram account. Topics change weekly from music, breathwork, and tension release.

BeDrex dance studio continues their dedication to the Hong Kong dance community with the launch of their 24/7 online tutorials. Interested viewers can rent ($40) or purchase ($50) the dance videos from their site to learn some cool dance moves. Some videos are free to preview on the website. The studio also created a donate tab as an option if people want to help the studio and its instructors to keep afloat during these challenging times. From April 14 to 23 join the team on Google Hangout for class sessions where the instructors will cover various dance styles from urban, jazz-funk, to hip hop.
