Calling all mojito enthusiasts, daquiri fanatics and pirates – the Hong Kong Rum Festival is back and celebrating five years! Taking place at The Loop event space (the same building that houses I Know John) and Honi Honi – home to the city’s largest collection of rum – over June 1st and 2nd, get immersed in more than 150 varieties of the sugarcane spirit, from overproof to cachaça to rhum agricole. Across the two days there’ll be mixology classes from master distillers, rum tastings and Polynesian food pairings courtesy of Hawaiian-inspired Pololi Hong Kong.

Even better, get prepared in the lead up to the fest on Thursday 31st May with various guest bartending shifts taking place at the likes of Lily & Bloom, Stockton and Employees Only.

Tickets cost $150 and are available now. By Jacinta Ruscillo
